Short version: SecBlok builds local-first tools. Your scan data and the systems you test stay on your machine — we never receive them. We collect only the minimum needed to license the software and run this site.
1. The product is local-first
SecDog runs on your own machine. Recon, scanning, and findings happen locally; your targets and results are never sent to SecBlok. The only outbound traffic is to the AI provider you configure with your own key (BYOK) — that traffic is governed by your provider's terms, not ours. See the SecDog trust model for exactly what does and doesn't leave the box.
2. What we collect
- Licensing & account: your email address, license key, subscription status, and a one-way sha256 machine-fingerprint hash used only to enforce per-seat limits (we cannot reverse it to identify your device).
- Payments: handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
- This website: makes no third-party or tracking requests and sets no cookies, aside from a local theme preference stored in your browser. The account dashboard sets a session cookie only after you log in.
3. How we use it
To provide and license the software, enforce seats, prevent abuse, process payments, and contact you about your account or the beta. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
4. Processors we rely on
Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional email), Render and Neon (hosting and database), and Cloudflare (CDN, DNS, storage). Each processes data only to deliver the service.
5. Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data at any time. Email hello@secblok.io and we'll action it.
